It has been alleged that Mswati III, the King of the impoverished African country of Eswatini and head of the Swazi Royal Family, has purchased a customized Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV for himself, and a further 19 Rolls Royce vehicles for his 15 wives.
Unconfirmed reports on social media have claimed that “4 Car Transporters fully loaded with 19 Rolls Royce cars and one Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV” were delivered to the small African country.
Between 2011 and 2015 Eswatini took US$507 million in overseas aid from other countries. Of this, US$140 million came from the United States which amounted to 28 percent of the total, and US$123 million from the European Union at 24 percent of the total. Other main donors were Taiwan US$74 million and the United Nations US$59 million.
